Editorial scope

This site is written by a games writer, and the expertise claimed here is games expertise: HTML5 arcade design, scoring systems, difficulty curves, control schemes and how small browser games communicate their rules. That is what the guides and articles are built on.

It is not a marine science publication and it does not claim to be one. Nobody writing here holds a marine biology degree, a professional diving certification or a research post at an ocean institute, and the site will not imply otherwise. Where an article touches on real oceans, real animals or real diving, the claim is sourced to a published scientific or governmental body and linked, and the arcade fiction around it is labelled as fiction. The fact-checking policy sets out exactly how that line is drawn.

Corrections and contact

If something on this site is wrong — a number in a guide that does not match the game, a factual claim about the ocean that is out of date, a broken link — the contact page explains how to report it and what happens next. Corrections to factual errors are made promptly and noted on the page.

Writing for this site

The site is not currently commissioning outside contributors. If that changes, the requirements and the review process will be published here first, and every published piece will carry a named author with a profile page like the one above. Anonymous or byline-free articles are not published.
